Our cottages have been awarded the EU Flower Eco-label.

This is the only sign of environmental quality certified by
an independent organisation and valid throughout Europe.

Examples of measures taken in our cottages :

• Use of low energy light bulb
• Solar water heating panels on each cottage
• Solar lights
• Recycling bins: glass, plastics, compost
• “A” graded  domestic appliances
• double glazing windows
• environmentally friendly products :
  cleaning, washing up liquid, …
• wood stove in each cottage

We promote environmental education :

• environmental trails on site
• canoe/ bike/ surfboard hire
• all outdoor activities are eco-friendly:
  canoeing, windsurfing, surfing, water trampoline, archery, caving, climbing, orienteering.
